How calls the first jump he did ?
I just find out your app and have discovered many lessons ❤ thank you for your sharing ❤❤❤❤❤ best wishes to you ❤
My spot moves from forward to the side when I’m going for my triple. Like my double is fine but I fall out of my triple.
For me it’s realllly weird, when I’m dancing to hype music in the bathroom and I’m happy and not even thinking, I can consistently pop out 4 or 5 pirouettes without trying. But when I try to really focus on turning in class I struggle with triples, and sometimes can barely even manage doubles! It’s the most frustrating thing - like the more I think the worse I do 🤨 I’ve got no clue why it happens, but I think it’s affecting the dancer in the vid as well. Something tells me that when the music is playing and she’s mid choreography, her turns are even more consistent and strong than they are here
The Royal Ballet has the best dancers.
You are welcome … Hope you enjoyed
Thank you for posting 🌷
Toxic dance teaching at its finest 🤌🏻
Too much talking and self obsession, not enough training.
that intro was so awkward
thanks queen love how no helpful information was included🥰
OMG, I only got 30 seconds in and I'm already in love with this lady!
What is the track used here?
I love this! You are such a fun teacher- full of life and vigor. I will be using this video to learn this step. You are also very stylish and beautiful. That scarf is wonderful. Thank you for posting.
This is five years later, I've stumbled upon your channel and now you have me on a chockhold. Thank you, I'm not able to afford lessons but this is will compensate for that. I basically owe you my life now
I like the preformer show how she is changing the weight on supporting leg, As the one who learning, it s important let them see it clearly.
knee is overstreched
that’s how her knees are and they don’t look over-hyperextended to the point of danger
that's not croice, sorry. it's efface. Sorry , but I have to say.
In the studio we were facing the corner of our own square overt in this particular lesson "Croisse" defined per this video!! Efface means shadowed or obscured
@@RPMDance The way the video is taken (therefore, where the audience is); this is an efface position. In croice, the leg should be seen crossing or overlapping the other leg. And there is no doubt about croice or efface, sorry.
@@zapatosdanceI’m sorry but if you’re gonna correct them at least spell croise correctly
....but how do you actually do the soutenu turn? .... not sure if an explanation of that was really in the video..... 😕
Que bonito
Muchas Gracias !!
💯 Promo sm
You are so lovely ❤
Rene Dupree's version is better
Is the class giver trying to pronounce sisson?

Hi, Cheri!😄
Hi Michelle !! Sure miss talking with you my dear friend !! How is everything doing ?
H Michelle !! What A wonderful surprise !!
@@RPMDance Hello, things are rolling along. Just got a picture of Wes from my principal. Love the comments about your video.
Fabulous!
You look terrific, Cheryl!❤❤❤
It"s not a matter of being self critical but of knowing what you need to work on to gain the confidence. You need to work in your entrechat quatre. It is uneven with your left leg stronger and doing most of the work - the beats. The movement is sideways/petite second out, then in with both legs working evenly. You are going front back without the outward movement. Correct with more turnout and beating from the upper thighs with both legs and more plié. Each movement is small but needs to be included. Pointed toes. Your left foot is more pointed than the right. Don't be disheartened. Ballet is a journey to perfection. In the West there is often a dearth of corrections. Without frank corrections, there is no improvement. Work on fluidity for your arabesques. You are tensing/lifting your shoulders, neck and head.
Thank. you for you input !! This is cheryl !! We aim to give quick technical ques. Balancing both sides of the body with equal and opposite counterersistance squared by alignment imagine Two headlights @shoulders @ribs @ hips all beaming head on ... Being perfectly balanced is only achieved by working without the barre therefore you can feel your center of balance and your brain & ZIPPERS will help you adjust to center . The Barre interrupts Yoiurr intuitive ability to naturally find your center of gravity !! In pre ballet we always keep the little ones without the barre until they are 8 years old therefore they know where their center is at that point of maturity .
1:56 can someone please tell me what that move is called?
Good but too much intro in the video
Debería haber una pena especial al que elabora la traducción al castellano
That releve in plie to start. Aaaaaaaaa

Thank you for learning the principles !! Also have a portal Visit rpm .dance !!
Thank you !! Would you be interested in a live class weekly on this channel for beginners ?
Thank you. I appreciate your technique. Recording repetition of, for example, greetings is time wasteful.
His heels are entirely off the floor!
Yes they were , in fact I tried to correct this principal dancer was trained in Cuba very different perspective . Whom was unwilling to change to safeguard his body and improve the technique !! Unfortunately this has been proven to be physically detrimental causing chronic tendonitis and possibly severing the achilles .Preventing injuries w safe effective cues and principles is the goal here.
I’m 31 and just started classes 6 weeks ago! I love it so much!
WOW So thrilling we are here to help you !!
@@RPMDance Replying as I just hit 1 year of training! :)
Love this video! It’s super helpful!
Were you drunk while recording this?
HAH ! Absolutely not !! I don't drink
What's that opening music?
I am a mime dancer, but I also do liturgical dancing at my church. I try to incorporate spins as I call it into my mime dancing. My question is Do I spot the same way as in ballet and How should I spin. (Forgive me of my terminology of movement)?
I love dance thanks
This applies for both right and left turns?
Absolutely this keeps your center of Balance aligned !! Just like when you pull a string on a top to spin , your focus and head create the whip !!
I started ballet late as a kid and was having trouble with spotting, this video has helped so much, any tips on how to relax my neck when I'm whipping it around?
Yes !! Release all tension by taking a big breath and exhale before you start your turn !! Let me know if this helps
